Corporate Relations Specialist

The Center for Societal Aspiration (CSACO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 2023, we are a startup organization dedicated to cultivating prosperous individuals and societies. Our focus is to rehabilitate people experiencing addiction, homelessness, and poverty via human health development, structural community development, and artificial intelligence & mobile technology.

 

Our mission is "to provide comprehensive health-based care to foster growth in the essential elements of the livelihood of individuals and their societies while nourishing a healthy, conscientious, and equitable relationship between a society and all of its people."

 

Role Description

This is a volunteer internship Corporate Relations Specialist at the Center for Societal Aspiration. This internship will take 6-8 hours per week and will start in early January 2024. As part of the internship, all interns will receive professional development education in their respective fields. The President and CEO will oversee and mentor interns directly through bi-weekly virtual one-on-one meetings. Additionally, we will hold virtual weekly staff meetings.

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential corporate partners aligned with the organization's mission and values.
  • Collaborate to develop compelling proposals tailored to the interests and objectives of corporate partners.
  • Assist in the development of communication strategies to engage corporate partners effectively.
  • Work closely with other teams, including marketing, communications, and program management, to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of corporate partnership initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all corporate interactions and partnerships by utilizing the CRM software to track communications, proposals, and engagement activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the development department.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in marketing, communication, or business or have a background in nonprofit management, fundraising, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to our organization's mission.
