Sales Development Intern - Summer 2024 (Phoenix, Arizona)

Job Summary

The Sales Development Intern works closely with licensed mortgage banking leaders and takes on an important role in the mortgage process. They will have the opportunity to build interpersonal sales skills and will be encouraged ideas to help improve processes.

Responsibilities

Participate in training to obtain necessary licensing – we provide training and cover all fees. Learn the mortgage loan process from application to closing. Pull metrics and reporting for the mortgage banking regions. Shadow mortgage bankers and enhance professional sales skills. Attend meetings, huddles, and training sessions to learn alongside the team. Identify areas for improvement and help create solutions for the business. Help manage projects and track progress.

Minimum Qualifications

Desire for a career as a mortgage banker at Rocket Mortgage. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, not limited to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to remain competitive and coachable while working in a fast-paced sales environment. Self-motivated with a competitive spirit. Strong organizational and time management skills. Team player attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in sales or customer service role.
