Ed-Tech Marketing Internship (All Majors Welcome)

ABOUT THE TEAM

Thea’s Community Managers, Maria and Lauren, have both respectively built careers in leading and coaching early career talent within education technology (ed-tech). They are motivated to support Thea Interns in their professional development, while also working alongside Thea's broader team of engineers and experts in data analytics, making the program a win for everyone!

 

Maria and Lauren met working at a high-growth ed-tech company in 2019. Since then, they have coached and led teams of people early in their careers, with success marked by team members earning promotions and building trust. Their work has been based on collaboration and continues to be as they co-lead this internship program.

 

PROGRAM DETAILS: 

This is an internship with bonus potential. Student Interns will receive team support to reach the goals of the program and earn resume-building experience. We want to make this fun and empowering!

 

Maria and Lauren are committed to partnering with Interns to make their experience relevant to their goals. Skills development might include learning sales and marketing tactics, leadership skills, learning how to provide feedback, job search advice, and increasing your influence in your community.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote Thea Study through on-campus marketing to drive new student sign-ups and regular usage  
  • This is a commission-based role dependent on the number of new Thea users you sign up. More students using Thea = more bonus potential. 
  • Find creative and effective ways to communicate with your school’s community and spread the word about Thea Study. This may include using your social media platforms, speaking at school clubs & activities, or influencing on your campus in the most relevant ways, you know best!  
  • Collect and share feedback to Thea Team, based on your own and others’ experiences using the platform. 
  • Use sales and marketing materials provided along with your own ideas to reach students on your campus. 
  • Collaborate with other Interns and program leadership to reach goals. Meet and connect with other Interns within your campus and across the country. 
  • Assist in recruiting efforts to grow the internship program. If you like it, tell your friends!   
  • Show up to meetings, be responsive, and communicate with program leadership. 

 

Internship Requirements:

  • Must be an undergraduate student enrolled at a College/University. 
  • Willingness to be active in your campus community. 
  • Able to commit at least 5 hours per week to the internship. 
  • Being involved in clubs and school organizations is a plus!

This internship will be beneficial especially if you’re looking to engage in work related to many different career paths such as: sales, marketing, leadership, technology, and education. The length of the internship runs through the rest of the Spring Term (respective to school) and is a remote opportunity.
