Associate Director of Marketing

Educational Conference Marketing in Healthcare Industry

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Location: Hybrid (East Windsor, NJ or Malvern, PA)

With a mission to improve patient care, we deliver information and education to healthcare professionals through 400+ global, regional, and local events and reach over 4 million users monthly through digital networks and social channels.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of Marketing to drive revenue and attendee growth for our healthcare conferences. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in digital marketing, show exceptional analytical skills, have proficiency in using KPIs to measure success and make informed decisions to optimize campaigns, and be adept at targeting different audiences creatively. Experience working with a CDP is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive revenue and increase attendee participation for healthcare conferences.

2. Utilize various digital marketing channels effectively, including email marketing, social media advertising, video marketing, content marketing, and targeted display advertising.

3. Use marketing automation tools to create and optimize lead nurturing campaigns, improving conversion rates throughout the marketing funnel.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent message is delivered to potential attendees.

5. Analyze campaign performance using key metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize ROI and meeting business objectives.

6. Utilize customer data platforms to segment and target specific audiences with personalized messaging.

7. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats.

8. Develop and manage marketing budgets for conferences, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and drive innovative marketing campaigns to achieve continuous improvement.

11. Provide regular reports and presentations on marketing performance to the Executive Team, highlighting key successes, challenges, and recommendations.

12. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients, partners, and vendors to ensure all marketing materials are aligned with branding guidelines and delivered on time.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. Proven experience of 7+ years in marketing, preferably in the healthcare conference industry. Experience in wound care marketing is a plus.

3. Comprehensive understanding of essential elements of marketing (branding, planning, messaging development, email, PR, web, social, sales support, print and digital advertising, direct mail, video, etc.).

4. Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.

5. Expertise in utilizing marketing automation tools and customer data platforms. Experience with HubSpot and Blueconic is strongly preferred.

6. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and increasing attendee participation through marketing strategies.

7. Experience in using KPIs and metrics to measure marketing performance.

8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence executive stakeholders.

9. Creative mindset with experience in targeting different audiences and tailoring messaging accordingly.

10. Proficient in project management, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

11. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members. Experience managing a small team is a plus.

12. Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
