Social Media Marketing Intern

  • Outline and implement social media marketing strategy based on results of social media audit.
  • Create pointed marketing campaigns for upcoming events and collaborations, such as Facebook and Instagram lives. Assist operationally on those events.
  • Use Canva to design social media posts that are SEO optimized and repurpose blog content for those posts.
  • Grow followers and increase engagement across social media platforms (LinkedIn Twitter). Continue to record and track growth and success using relevant measures.
  • Research relevant hashtags.
  • Audit competitors for tone, style and effectiveness of posts to cater our social media marketing to our audience.
  • Take active steps to follow accounts and make connections through groups on all social media platforms. This includes liking, commenting on, resharing posts from other similar accounts.
  • Find and implement new strategies to reach and engage our target audiences using social media.

The intern will be supervised by their manager and will receive mid-point evaluation along with weekly meetings. This is an unpaid internship, but can be used for class credit or as a resume builder.
