Mission Statement: The purpose of this internship program is to provide practical experience, enable the intern to establish a professional network, and provide broad exposure to our organization to college students and recent graduates to prepare them for their future career.

 

Internship Description

OVERVIEW 

We are seeking an innovative and creative Entertainment Intern who is ready to apply their knowledge of entertainment principles to an authentic real-world experience and achieve amazing results by working on projects that may directly impact the business. This is an exciting opportunity for any student pursuing a career in entertainment. Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide direct administrative support to the Entertainment team including research, deck creation, and general office support tasks
  • Shadow and assist various department (Executive, Box Office, Venue Operations and etc.) and perform tasks assigned by department
  • Assist departments on show-days to successfully host concerts, shows, and special events
  • Reviewing contracts / Updating contracts grid
  • Ticket counts
  • Resolve customer complaints & concerns
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Actively enrolled junior, senior, or 1yr. postgraduate with an accredited Business, Entertainment, Marketing, Communications or related degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex research into common language
  • Ability to quickly learn and process information
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Capable of taking direction from leadership and mentors.
