Public Relations Intern (Year Round)

Public Relations Interns 

We are searching for a strategic public  relations person who can plan campaigns to build and maintain the client's Public  Image. Public relations Interns are also in charge of establishing campaign goals in  collaboration with clients, social media teams, and the marketing department. You must stay current with industry trends and have strong communication skills. 

Responsibilities

● Developing, planning, and implementing Public Relations strategies 

● Managing individual and other organization inquiries 

● Press release research, authoring, and distribution to selected social media 

● Developing public relations tactics and campaigns 

● Organizing press conferences, exhibits, open days and press tours, among other  things 

● Managing the public relations component of a possible crisis 

● Creating and managing brochures, handouts, direct mail flyers, promotional film,  pictures Etc 

● Examine the media coverage 

● Assisting in Fundraising 

Qualifications

● Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in public relations, journalism, English, communications, business, marketing or a related field

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active listening and critical thinking skills
  • Empathy and understanding another person's experience and point of view 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of maternal and child health issues preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
  • Business marketing for a similar discipline is necessary
