2025 Spring Tax Internship

Reilly, Penner & Benton is excited to welcome several aspiring interns to join us for a transformative spring experience!

Role Overview:

Are you passionate about accounting and finance? Eager to learn and gain hands-on experience? Our spring internship program is designed just for you! As an intern, you'll be immersed in the world of accounting, working alongside experienced professionals. This internship will offer you a taste of what it's like to maintain financial records, analyze data, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Gain exposure to preparing and maintaining financial statements, ledgers, and subsidiary accounts.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and even assist with tax return preparation.
• Support the team during month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Discover the intricacies of compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance efficiency.
• Working 40 hours per week from January 15th through April 15th.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field at a sophomore level or above.
• Eager to learn and gain hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong desire to understand financial principles and regulations.
• Willingness to adapt and proficiency in utilizing accounting software and tools.
• Ambitious attitude toward your future – financial assistance provided for your CPA journey if hired full-time upon completion of internship!
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
