Data & Analytics Intern Description

The Intern will assist the Data & Analytics Membership team in providing a variety of data processing tasks. This includes assisting in the data collection, data organizing and maintenance tasks to improve the data processing for officer updates and data for the International Convention taking place in August 2024. The Intern will assist in updating officer information in the document management system that stores information for the maintenance of AFSCME local union officers, processing convention credentials and fielding calls to the department.

 

The successful candidate should be data-minded, possess a serious commitment to the work of the labor movement and data processing with moderate to advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, ability to manage several tasks concurrently and prioritize work effectively all while working under pressure. Interns will work full-time and will be paid at a rate of $17.00 per hour. The internship will be in-person in our Washington, D.C. office.
