Employer Branding Intern

The People and Organization Communities of Expertise (COE) sits at the intersection of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion within Butterball.  Our mission revolves around enhancing our role as a service provider and catalyst for added value within the organization. We play a pivotal role in sourcing the right talent at the right time and implementing initiatives to foster their development and engagement. 

As an Employee Branding Intern, you can contribute significantly to our talent brand through your adeptness in creative writing, social media acumen, and strategic thinking. You'll collaborate both independently and within a team environment to expand your expertise across various talent-focused domains, encompassing recruitment, marketing, and talent branding. This internship offers a platform to make a tangible impact while honing essential skills and knowledge vital for professional growth. 

 

As an Employer Branding Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on: 

  • Creating compelling marketing collateral that showcases our culture, people, company purpose and opportunities via our social media, blogs, and digital media channels.
  • Analyzing market trends to advise on maintaining competitiveness within our campaigns and outreach endeavors.
  • Offering suggestions for improving the candidate journey.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop our LinkedIn content schedule.
  • Gathering both quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.

 

Internship Location & Term: 

  • Position is based out of our Headquarters in Garner, North Carolina.
  • Full-time summer internship (40 hours a week).
  • Possibility to extend internship beyond summer.
  • Hybrid internship (at minimum 2x a week) and for any intern events.

 

What You Bring to the Table:  

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree with a major in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline within expected graduation date no earlier than December 2024.
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar asset creation tools.
  • Proficiency in Power Point skills and basic graphic design skills (e.g. Photoshop).
  • Understanding of excel or other data analytics platforms to drive insights and measurable results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide customer centric approach to all stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively present to individuals at all organizational levels.
