Evening Safety Assistant

Inspections to complete:

  1. Extinguishers
  2. Egress lights
  3. Eyewash stations
  4. AED
  5. Storm water outfalls
  6. Waste [universal and Hazardous] – weekly inspections + daily monitoring

Inspections to Monitor:

  1. Breathing Air tank
  2. Crane Inspections
  3. Forklift Inspections
  4. Hazardous/universal Waste
  5. Scissor Lift Inspections

 

Quarterly/Bi-Annual/Annual Inspections:

  1. Fire Extinguishers
  2. Backflow & Hydrants
  3. Breathing Air – biannual
  4. Industrial Hygiene testing
  5. Smoke Testing – quarterly
  6. LOTO Audit
  7. Rigging Inspections
  8. Annual hearing test
  9.  

Regular Job Duties:

Tool box talks – monthly [1st Monday of each month before 1st break]

Safety Walks – weekly

HSA/JSA

Rigging repair/order

Safety Meetings – 3rd Wednesday each month

Friday and (2nd & 4th) Wednesday Safety Talks – with mgmt. & safety

SDS – Labeling and system update

Paint Logs

Recycler Logs 

OSHA Logs & injury Tracking

Entering employee work comp information

5 Why Accident Investigations

Recycling of universal waste

Order/Replace Fire Extinguishers

Update Training Logs & Employee Job status

Shop Walk Throughs and Safety monitoring
