Our summer internship program is a 10-week paid internship starting in July and ending in September based out of our NYC office or remotely. Interns will be fully immersed in the team, receiving opportunities to enhance their skills, contribute to our mission, and prepare for a full-time role. Furthermore, interns will receive various professional and personal development opportunities, like mentorship programming, an opportunity to work directly with Founders and senior leadership, and innovative stretch assignments.

Position Overview: 

Roomie is looking for a Business Strategy & Operations Intern to join our Operations team. They will work with the Operations Managers to play a vital role in driving value through our new and existing initiatives by implementing successful execution that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support on strategic initiatives
  • Author and design presentations and briefing documents
  • Help identify and assess new business opportunities and other monetization ideas
  • Identify and evaluate key market and competitive trends
  • Grow skills alongside a global team of engineers, and designers

Who You Are

  • A recent graduate (summer 2024) 
  • Sense of ownership and accountability in the execution process
  • Capable of interfacing effectively with internal teams and leadership
  • Strong skills in creating and customizing presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • A team player that is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to help out
  • Creative, self-starter with exceptional follow-up skills
