School Nurse

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a School Nurse at Spencerport High School

*Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins.  

Immediate Supervisor:  Director of Student Information Services and Building Principal.
                                                                       
Required Credentials:  Possession of current New York State license as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred Credentials:  Experience as a school nurse,  experience in pediatric and/or public health nursing, certification in CPR and AED training,  bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field, ability to interact with students, parents and staff, exemplary communication skills, technologically proficient.

Appointment:  Full-time on contract, 10 month school year with additional summer days

Salary/Benefits:  Commensurate with experience, minimum starting salary for the student school year (September to June) $44,683 plus $300 stipend with Bachelors Degree/$400 with Masters Degree; comprehensive benefits package, paid time off; sick, personal, family days, 11 paid holidays, NYS pension.
