Salary $49,025 - $63,733 per year


Utilize Esri ArcGIS software to create, edit and analyze spatial data to create map products.

  • Use cartographic, artistic, and science communication skills to create engaging and educational web based application (e.g. ESRI ArcGIS Online) for scientists and the public.
  • Create field data collection applications (e.g. ESRI Fieldmaps), collect field data using survey grade GPS, and download and post-process GPS collected data.
  • Augment GIS database by digitizing mapped information, importing existing digital data, and converting tabular data.
  • Articulate and frame issues through critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Assist with the documentation of processes, metadata, and user guides.
  • Assist with the maintenance of hardware, peripherals, GPS units.
