HACE University Leadership Program Fall 2024 Cohort

HACE’s University Leadership Program aims to provide high-potential students with the access, insight, and professional development opportunities to reach their career goals. As part of the program, students also build social capital by connecting with HACE corporate partners, which helps grow a dynamic and inclusive workforce.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE 

Designed for nationwide Hispanic and/or Latino/a/x/e undergraduate students (enrolled in a community college or 4-year college/university) 

PROGRAM BENEFITS 

  • $1,000 stipend upon completion of program 
  • Establish and build your personal brand
  • Create a personal career plan
  • Connect with high-caliber professionals representing HACE’s corporate partners and HACE's alumni
  • Access to resource library with tools for college and career readiness

PROGRAM LANGUAGE

All sessions and materials are in English. Based on availability, bilingual (English and Spanish) guest speakers share their  struggles, successes, and lessons learned. If there are any language barriers, please address with the Programs Department (programdept@haceonline.org). 

 

FALL 2024 APPLICATION PERIOD 

Application Deadline: August 4, 2024

 

FALL 2024 ATTENDANCE POLICY

Participants should plan to attend all sessions. This is a fast-paced learning environment and the attendance policy allows for one missed session (maximum). The Team Project Presentation does not classify as an excused absence unless there is an emergency. 

FALL 2024 TUITION

The cohort's tuition is complimentary for accepted students thanks to our sponsors.

 

FALL 2024 ONBOARDING DATES

*Onboarding is designed to give participants an overview of HACE, resources, and program requirements. Accepted participants must attend one of the following sessions:

  • August 26, 2024 (Monday) @ 3:00pm-3:30pm PST/5:00-5:30pm CST/6:00-6:30pm EST
  • August 28, 2024 (Wednesday) @ 12:00pm-12:30pm PST/2:00-2:30pm CST/3:00-3:30pm EST

October 7, 2024 |Session 5: Negotiating and Landing Job Offers

October 14, 2024 | *Skipping this week to honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day and to allow students to focus on their group presentations

October 21, 2024 |Session 6: Best-fit Work Setting & Work-life Integration 

October 28, 2024 |Session 7: Personal Finance 

November 4, 2024 |Session 8: Team Project Presentation

November 18, 2024 |Session 9: Graduation and Networking
