Collections Intern
Mansfield Service Partners is looking for a Collections Intern for our Houston, TX location.
The Credit Internship program for the Summer of 2024 is designed for students seeking experience within the fields of Accounting/Finance/Risk. The internship opportunity is designed for highly qualified college/university students currently obtaining their bachelor’s degree.
The Intern will manage a portfolio of accounts, analyzing overdue receivables, extrapolating data, and professionally communicating with customers about their balances and payments. Additionally, the Intern will collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues preventing payment. This could include our Tax team, Credit team, Account Managers, Billing Department, and Sales teams, integrating market/industry knowledge in the decision-making processes. The student will also refine their business communication, problem solving, and project management skills.
The role will involve active participation in the following:
- Communicating with internal and external customers
- Utilizing business management software to record activity
- Monitoring project progress and reporting results
- Making judgments and recommendations on releasing fuel
- Sourcing internal resources for problem solving
Mansfield’s summer internship will be a part-time or full-time paid internship ($16/hour) starting June 2024 and concluding August 2024. This position will be based at the corporate office located in Houston, TX, 8799 N Loop E Fwy.
