Internship Opportunity: Accounting and Finance Intern

Location: Remote
Hours: 29 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 12 pm (5 hours per day)
Duration: June 1st to September 1st
Compensation: Unpaid

Internship Overview:

We are seeking 10 highly qualified and dedicated interns to join our accounting and finance team for a summer program. As an Accounting and Finance Intern, you will gain real-life experience by setting up financial systems, preparing for tax filings, managing sales tax, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is designed for the most serious and exceptional students, providing a hands-on opportunity to apply advanced accounting and finance skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial System Setup: Assist in setting up and maintaining financial systems for tracking income, expenses, and budgets.
  • Tax Preparation: Support the preparation and review of tax documents, including income tax returns, sales tax filings, and other compliance requirements.
  • Sales Tax Management: Help manage and file sales tax for different jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, including tax laws, GAAP, and internal policies.
  • Audit Support: Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits.

  • Professionalism: High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Interest in Finance: A strong interest in accounting, finance, and the music industry.
