About the Position:

Under the general direction of the Branch Chief, Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Development and Support Branch in the Office of CADD and Engineering Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Support, is responsible for training, support, and maintenance of the Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) applications like MicroStation, along with providing support for Descartes, Raster Manager, and programming macros and MicroStation Development Languages (MDL) that inter-operate between various Building Information Modeling (BIM41)/CADD software. This position provides guidance to engineers and surveyors in the effective use of MicroStation, related raster imaging software, various BIM41 software and programming custom macros to perform specific tasks in conjunction with roadway design. This position also coordinates assistance that may be required with developers from the vendor's side.
