Business Development Intern

Internship Opportunity: Business Development for Global Visual Arts Marketplace

Are you a top-tier student passionate about visual arts and ready to make a significant impact? Join us in launching a new global marketplace dedicated to showcasing the best of painting and sculpture worldwide. We are assembling a team of 25 exceptional interns who can contribute across all aspects of our ambitious project.

Internship Details:

• Role: Business Development Intern
• Start Date: July 15, 2024
• End Date: December 31, 2024 (with potential extension to May 31, 2025)
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (NYC Time), Monday to Friday
• Location: Remote (with potential for up to 25% in-person work in NYC)
• Eligibility: Only for American residents

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and execution for a global marketplace specializing in visual arts, with a focus on painting and sculpture
• Conduct extensive market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the art market
• Manage marketing and outreach efforts to attract top-tier artists and galleries worldwide
• Coordinate virtual and potentially in-person conferences and gallery showings
• Collaborate with artists and curators to curate high-quality content for the marketplace

Qualifications:

• Exceptional academic performance in art history, business, or related fields
• Deep passion and knowledge of visual arts, specifically painting and sculpture
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
