Position Type: Internship 

Pay Range: $18.00/hour- we believe in a culture of transparency

The Talent Acquisition intern will provide support to the Talen Acquisition (TA) team during the Spring semester and the Summer of 2023. This is a part time position during the Spring semester and full time during the Summer, with the possibility of extension. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with Hiring Managers and People team to monitor job descriptions, post open positions and schedule interviews
  • May conduct candidate prescreening calls while detailing the position, analyzing the candidate’s background, and reviewing the company culture and expectations
  • With the guidance of the People team, manage a pipeline of candidates by reviewing resumes to help identify top candidates
  • Opportunity to learn the branding process by utilizing various recruiting outlets (Linkedin, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.) and help to identify talented candidate profiles
  • Regularly communicate and attend meetings with the People team to provide information, market updates, and discuss branding tactics and ideas
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Current student studying Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or other applicable field of study
  • Current GPA of 3.0 or higher, preferred
  • Interest in learning more about Talent Acquisition
  • Ability to work autonomously; self-motivated
  • Collaborative and cooperative attitude
  • Strong written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Capacity to handle confidential information
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
