About:
We are seeking an Events Intern to support the operations of our newly opened event center. If you have an interest in event planning and operations, we encourage you to apply! All majors are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assist with aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure positive event experience for attendees.
- Manage weekly newsletters and serve as the main liaison with our Network Slack channel.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of operations for events hosted at The DEC Network. Ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Undertake various administrative duties as required, encompassing scheduling, correspondence management, and maintaining meticulous records of events and client interactions.
Must-Have/Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Must be able to work 15 hours per week
- Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets
- This internship is Hybrid - in person only when there are events, other than that, you will be working remotely.
This is not a paid position.
