Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team. This unpaid internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a successful entrepreneur, a former C suite executive and current executive coach, and a seasoned nonprofit leader. You will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit management, strategic planning, and organizational development while contributing to our mission of empowering other nonprofits.

Hours: Must have availability to work approximately 10 hours per week during the hours of 9am and 3pm, with 5 additional hours that can independently be completed at any time during the week. Consideration of student’s classes will be given when exact schedule is made. Hours worked will be a hybrid of on site and remote. Student will supply their own computer and must have transportation to the Franklin location at least once a week, typically on Tuesdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Conduct research on best practices and emerging trends in the nonprofit sector.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including grant writing and donor communications.
  • Help organize and coordinate events, workshops, and training sessions for nonprofit leaders.
  • Contribute to marketing and outreach efforts, including social media and website content.
  • Provide administrative support to senior leaders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the nonprofit sector and a passion for social impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
