Summary:
This role is the right-hand to the Chief Financial Officer and will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior management to contribute to the next-level growth of DASCO’s financial capabilities. This role is critical in driving financial strategy and decision-making through comprehensive analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare finance, a strong background in data analysis and reporting tools, and a proven track record in strategic financial planning.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead the FP&A function, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Own and improve the monthly reporting package and offer executive insights on performance vs. plan.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis.
- Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends and recommending actions for improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual operating budgets and strategic plans.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through effective utilization of data warehouse and analytics tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance financial performance visibility.
- Supervise and mentor an FP&A analyst.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
2. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
3. Proven experience in the healthcare industry is essential.
4. Strong proficiency in data warehouse management and utilization for financial analysis.
5. Expertise in Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools.
6. Solid understanding of financial statements and GAAP principles.
7. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
8. Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
9. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. MBA preferred.
2. Prior experience in a PE backed portfolio company preferred.
3. Transaction advisory experience is beneficial but not required.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position manages an FP&A analyst, including development and performance management.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment in Columbus, Ohio. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home in a collaborative and innovative work environment.

TRAVEL:
Minimum travel is required for this position but occasional out of town and overnight travel may be expected.
