ClubHALO Intern

We are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, has a strong sense of urgency, takes the initiative, is solution-driven, and has the ability to make things happen. When you join the HALO family, you are surrounded by a group of passionate individuals who want to see you succeed and grow in your internship.

The ClubHALO Intern will work with the HALO COO, Operations Director, Jefferson City Director and Operations Manager and will be a part of our ClubHALO efforts for the HALO headquarters and HALO branches. ClubHALO is a youth volunteer program that empowers kids (18 years and under) to help homeless and at-risk kids in their community or at HALO. As a part of ClubHALO, kids and teens around the world can complete impactful volunteer projects, lead fundraisers, and build a community of other young people to bring awareness and action to ending youth homelessness. ClubHALO empowers communities to start their own ClubHALO Chapter by providing accessible materials from the ClubHALO webpage and through personalized content from ClubHALO Admin. This position will be for at least 10 hours a week at HALO Headquarters in Kansas City and will report to the Operations Manager. 

Make an impact working with local homeless youth while using your own creativity! 

Examples of tasks include:

• Support ClubHALO in-person Service Events hosted at HALO
• Support ClubHALO Junior Board, a youth-led leadership organization that will complete a fundraiser, drive, or event for HALO
• Create lesson plans and impactful volunteer projects for ClubHALO members and Chapters
• Update and support website design for ClubHALO, ClubHALO Chapters, ClubHALO Junior Board, and more
• Organize ClubHALO content into HALO blog posts, social media posts, and other marketing uses
• Doing community outreach to spread awareness of ClubHALO, ClubHALO volunteer projects, and ClubHALO Chapters
• Communicate and support ClubHALO Chapters to make sure they are following Chapter requirements and receiving assistance throughout the internship
