Digital Technologies Assurance & Compliance Internship - Chicago - Summer 2025

Mars Information Security – Assurance & Compliance Internship Experience

As an Assurance & Compliance Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas of the IT Audit & Compliance program:

  • IT General Controls (ITGC) framework which includes control design, implementation, and continuous monitoring to mitigate risks.
  • System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework which is part of the pre-implementation audit process.
  • IT Audit fieldwork where you will work with external auditors and key stakeholders. This includes key audit processes like interviews/walkthroughs, testing samples, analyzing data sets, and reporting.
  • NIST Cyber Security Framework

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Students pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Information systems, or related field.
  • Students who are passionate about  Information Security, Cyber Security, and the CPG industry.
  • Collaborators with strong problem-solving skill, data driven and strategic thinkers and have a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for .
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
