The Cybersecurity Consulting Practice at Elliot Davis is a specialized unit dedicated to safeguarding the digital assets and integrity of its clients through comprehensive cybersecurity services. This unit excels in its ability to perform penetration tests and cybersecurity assessments, leveraging leading industry frameworks to adeptly identify vulnerabilities, comprehensively evaluate risks, and provide impactful, strategic security enhancements.

Penetration Testing: The team at Elliot Davis conducts thorough penetration testing, also known as ethical hacking, where they simulate cyberattacks on their clients' systems, networks, and applications. This proactive approach allows them to uncover security weaknesses that could be exploited by malicious actors. By identifying these vulnerabilities before they can be exploited, the department helps clients strengthen their security posture against real-world cyber threats.

Cybersecurity Assessments: Leveraging established industry frameworks such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks, the cybersecurity department conducts in-depth assessments of its clients' cybersecurity practices. These assessments evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures, compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment with best practices. The goal is to provide a comprehensive view of the client's cybersecurity landscape, highlighting areas of strength and pinpointing opportunities for improvement.

Additionally, you will participate in engaging professional development seminars and contribute to ongoing community service projects, allowing you to cultivate unique and fulfilling experiences.
