The IT Audit ENVISION  Internship Program 

Our ENVISION internship program is nationally recognized and serves as a launching pad for your professional journey. 

As an IT Audit intern you will: 

Conduct information technology and systems assurance reviews.  Perform IT and operational controls assessments including general IT controls and application controls.  Consult and advise clients on information technology processes and controls to ensure alignment with applicable regulations, requirements, and industry best practices.  

 

Listed below is a snapshot of the responsibilities and expectations for an ENVISION Intern:

  • Professional/Technical Competence
    • Researches and consults on various tax projects/matters
    • Learns to apply Information Technology tools and tax software to be used for preparation
    • Receives exposure to the preparation and timeliness of business correspondence
  • Client Focus
    • Receives direct experience visiting with and/or working on client matters
    • Learns to apply exemplary work habits and maintain confidentiality at all times
    • Builds sense of teamwork by becoming part of client service team
  • Business Focus
    • Hones communication skills and keeps manager informed of work assignments’ status
    • Develops strong time and work management skills
    • Gains a deep understanding of the firm and its capabilities/services

Listed below are the requirements for ENVISION Interns:

  • Must be either a Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or Cybersecurity major
  • Preference is for students to be a graduated junior or senior by the time the internship commences
  • Must have a GPA of 3.25 or greater
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
