Our patent-pending technology, developed with the support of veterinary experts, allows us to identify abnormal symptoms in pets using smartphones. Our mission is to empower pet owners with tools to ensure their pets' wellbeing and make pet care more affordable and accessible.

As a Product Manager at WoafMeow, you will gain hands-on experience in developing innovative mobile applications that enhance the health and wellbeing of pets. You will work alongside our talented team of engineers and developers, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our React Native application. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills in a real-world setting, while also learning from industry experts and making a meaningful impact on pet care.

Key Responsibilities

 • Product Strategy: Define and drive the product vision and strategy for our mobile app, aligning it with company goals. Identify market opportunities and customer needs to create a compelling product roadmap.
• App Development: Lead the mobile app development process, from ideation to launch. Work closely with engineering, design, and UX teams to create detailed app mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Feature Definition: Define and prioritize key app features based on user needs, market research, and business goals. Ensure that the app is intuitive, user-friendly, and delivers high value to our users.
• User Research: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze data to inform product decisions. Ensure that the app meets the needs of pet owners and provides a delightful user experience.
• Project Management: Oversee the mobile app development lifecycle, managing timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the product team and other departments. Present product updates, roadmaps, and strategies to stakeholders and executives.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor app performance, gather user insights, and identify opportunities for optimization. Drive the continuous improvement of the app’s features and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on mobile app development.
• Proven experience in creating app mockups, wireframes, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and mobile app best practices.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex app development projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Passion for pets and a deep understanding of the pet care market.
 

Project Experience:

Previous experience with mobile app projects, either through coursework, personal projects, or internships.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through technical challenges.

Communication: Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Passion for Technology and Pets: A genuine interest in mobile development and a passion for improving pet care through technology.

Additional Information

Location: This internship position is remote

Duration: The internship duration is flexible, with a minimum commitment of 3 months - 6 months.

Time: 10-15 per week
