Environmental Science Intern

In the role of an Environmental Science Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Gain real-world experience on exciting projects by applying standard scientific techniques and procedures.
  • Work under the guidance of experienced scientists to prepare wetland delineation reports, environmental permit applications, National Environmental Policy Act documents, and biological assessments
  • Perform other duties that may include the field collection and/or mapping of natural resource data, figure/graphic preparation, and GIS data analysis
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 2+ years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Esri ArcGIS experience preferred.
  • Preference given to local candidates

 

Required Qualifications
 

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or related program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
