A Day in the Life: 

Hertz’s Facilities, Fuel, & Environmental team in undergoing a phase of transformation – re-shaping how we manage our facilities, assets, regulatory compliance, and delivering value to the business through technology, process, and investment in the team.

The Analyst – Facilities will play a key role in supporting the team’s daily operations, provide critical insight to data/trends, and support the improvement of business processes, systems, and tools. 

The starting salary is $55K, commensurate with experience. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support ongoing operational activity (50%): coordinate contracts, bids, POs, and manage vendor/Facilities team requests for information.
  • 50% Strategic Initiatives and Improvements:
  • Drive automation and process efficiencies in critical operational and financial routines, ensuring accurate and timely outcomes are met.
  • Manage Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data to ensure accurate reporting, maintenance history, asset data and condition, warranty information, and lease obligations – all supporting improved decision-making for the Facilities team.
  • Leverage existing reporting platforms and partner across Hertz technology teams to create new data sets, tools, and visualizations supporting the Facilities team,
  • Analyze Facilities’ cost, budget and performance metrics and provide reports as requested.  Recommend cost and process improvements.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in business analytics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical/Business/Economics discipline required
  • Experience working in ERP (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and other contracting software for processing
  • Understanding of data patterns, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, understanding forecasting/predictive modelling, etc
  • Hands on experience with analytics tools: Tableau, DOMO, Hive, Spark, and coding languages (R, Python)
  • Ability to hypothesize and support conclusions with analytical evidence using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and data visualizations
  • Able to influence peers, managers, and other stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with both business and technical teams, translating needs and information
  • Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
