What Will You Do?
In order to provide you with an optimal Product Marketing internship at The Toro Company, you can expect to gain experience in most, if not all of, the following areas:
Product Line Management:
Support and contribute during new product development and stage gate processes
Operate prototype and production machinery
Assist with the strategic and tactical process of Annual Planning
Assist with new product launches
Create web content, sell sheets, press releases, testimonials
Direct and e-marketing campaigns
Channel and Customer Relationships:
Communicate and interact with distributor partners and end customers
Assist with planning and execution of key customer events
Attend industry events
Marketing Research:
Assist with collection of market research and voice of customer (VOC) data to determine feasibility of new product concepts and/or markets
Analyze and prepare reports using data generated from lead management tool
Research and analyze the market opportunity for potential new products
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Junior academic status, degree in process
Engineering or business major desired, but others may be considered
Solid mechanical aptitude, able to turn a wrench and not afraid to get hands dirty
Capable of operating machinery (utility vehicles, commercial mowers, etc.)
Excellent communication and analytical skills – requires strong ability to interpret and analyze various types of data, summarize, and clearly present findings
Proficient in Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), database/data mining experience a plus

Competitive Pay- The anticipated pay range is $18.00-21.00 per hour.
