Intern Orientation Highlights
Internship Program Requirements:

Educational Background: Pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation between December 2025 and Summer 2027. Must have overall 2.8GPA

Transportation: Interns must have their own transportation to and from work.

Geographical Flexibility: Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations.

Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.

Availability: Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2025.

Job Responsibilities
Cash Application Intern 

  • Process current-day payments timely and accurately in multiple systems – IBM, JDE, Agris, Sage 500, Sage 300, Adage, AS400, Spec Net, M3 
  • Investigate, Research, and apply unapplied cash payments 
  • Provide outstanding customer service to ADM’s Internal and External customers  
  • Reconcile customer accounts and out of balances 

Accounts Payable Intern  

  • Process daily ACH/Check payments for all ERPs across ADM & Nutrition 
  • Provide excellent customer service in and outside of ADM 
  • Research and provide coding for refunds 
  • Process improvements for physical checks processed Monitor returned ACH payments along with authorizing daily TRAX payment 
  • Review open JDE vouchers monthly 

Master Data Management Intern 

  • Setup and Maintain customer and vendor Information in IBM, JDE, Oracle and other ERP systems 
  • Setup and processing of vendor liens 
  • Provide outstanding customer service for ADM’s Internal and External Customers. 

Commodity Management Services Intern 

  • The CMS Settlement groups maintain Truck, Rail, Barge and Vessel accounts for multiple ADM locations and outside trade customers.       
  • Process settlement activities timely and accurately 
  • Process contract changes, washes, and cancellations 
  • Process freight, demurrage and dispatch invoices and payments 
  • Process wire advances 
  • Work closely with the ADM Business and provide excellent customer service to our Internal and External Customers
