(#R24_03984) Supply Chain Internship

Position: Supply Chain Internship 

Program Start and Duration:  

Spring (January – May) 2025 

Summer (June – August) 2025 

Fall (September – December) with potential for extension  

 

Location: Various Locations 

 

The program is designed for students to gain real word experience by developing strong functional / technical expertise and business knowledge through challenging, hands-on assignments and to expose them to various areas within the Supply Chain area. Over the course of the internship, associates will complete work assignments to support Supply Chain functions such as, Corporate Indirect Procurement, Corporate/Business Direct Procurement, Operational Purchasing, Corporate Logistics/Transportation Services, and Operations/Warehouse Materials Management. 

 

This internship will provide associates an opportunity to gain better knowledge and experiences across multiple Supply Chain functions. Beyond the “learn by doing” training structure, our program cultivates excellence in communication skills via formal report-outs to peers and senior Supply Chain leadership and regularly scheduled mentor meeting with program leaders. 

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

Actively pursuing a 4-year Engineering degree with a major in Supply Chain or Operations Management in a business/industrial related field     

Completed two years of full-time study or equivalent 

Previous internship or work experience preferred 

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)  

Understanding and ability to extract data from various systems and create meaningful reports  

 Ability to extract critical data and analyze data to make informed business decisions  

Excellent computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.)  

Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management  

Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority  

Proven success in a change management and “stretch” environment    

Ability to travel up to 20% 

 

Interpersonal / Leadership Skills 

Self-starter, desire to learn and contribute 

Proven ability to work with a cross functional team 

Good oral and written communication skills 

Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and handle yourself professionally
