Summer 2025 Control Systems Engineer Intern
Schneider Electric has an exciting opening for a Summer 2025 Control Systems Engineer Intern based in Houston, TX. We are seeking an eager, customer focused, team oriented individual to work with our project group to deliver process control systems to help our customers meet their production goals. This is a opportunity to gain Fortune 500 experience, with mentorship from senior Engineers. The ideal candidate will provide engineering support for several projects; assignments are of low technical complexity and scope and executed under oversight from a Senior Application Engineer.
What will you do?
- Participate in customer acceptance and application testing under the supervision of a Senior Application Engineer
- Increases project margins by minimizing re-work and complying with Schneider Electric's technical engineering processes and quality standard
- Perform system software installation and configuration
- Support PM, LE, Field Service and customer on wide range of system related items as required Including:
- HMI design and configuration
- Process control configuration
- Cyber security protocols and procedures
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Current enrollment in Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical or Electrical preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office technologies
- Familiarity with CAD, Visio preferred
- Local to Houston, TX and able to work an in-office schedule for Summer 2025
