Functions of the Job:

  • Pulling up to 50 lbs to properly place panels of synthetic turf
  • Kneeling/crawling/crouching to cut turf by hand in preparation for seaming
  • Assist with all steps in the Field Maintenance process (measuring, cutting, gluing, infilling, testing, and job site cleanliness).
  • Learn how to operate Gas and Diesel equipment as needed
  • Occasional exposure to chemicals such as glue, sand, and crumb rubber
  • Work alongside like-minded individuals in a team atmosphere unlike any other.
  • Learn how to test and repair fields.

 

Requirements:

  • Reliable, honest, hardworking and motivated self starter
  • Have the willingness to learn and to be coached.
  • Able to work productively in a team environment
  • Long hours working outdoors
  • Constant exposure to weather and outdoor seasonal elements
  • Reliable means of transportation to/from our shop in Newtown (driver’s license not required)
  • Overnight travel and travel out of state may be required (hotel accommodations and daily food stipend provided)
  • Able to pass drug screen and background check
