Consumer Business Banking Undergraduate Intern
This position is for a 10-week Summer Internship. The Consumer Business Banking Intern will support the enhancements of risk-based analytical products and tools to improve business value and service quality according to business needs and industry best practices.
This 2025 Summer Internship is for undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.
This internship position is located in either:
- Boston, MA.
- New York City

Essential Functions:
- Performs data mining and analysis to address key business issues
- Reviews identified risks and liabilities; informs and recommends resolutions with business lines to mitigate risk potential
- Monitors, oversees, reports, and analyzes key risk indicators to drive business decisions
- Applies statistical techniques to analyze trends and uncover risks and opportunities relative to portfolio management, originations, and operational loss.
- Prepares dashboard reports, identifying trends and presenting thoughtful, actionable solutions for implementation
- Identifies and prepares relevant information/data sources for risk analysis.
- Supports the process to generate business insight using quality risk data analytics.
- Fosters new risk data-driven approaches to generate business insight and address unanswered business problems.
- Supports the enhancements of analytical risk-based products and services to improve business value and service quality according to business needs and industry best practices.
- Supports the exploration and development of future internal products which will be leverages for risk analytics.
- Supports the process to generate business insight using quality risk data analytics.
- Validates, interprets, and presents data findings to team; encapsulates analytic findings into executive-level summary documents to support senior management decision-making.
Requirements:
- An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2025 - Spring 2026
- Major in Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Statistics or equivalent quantitative field
- A cumulative GPA or 3.0 or above
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced market environment
- Solid professional and personal work ethic
- Ability to work independently on special projects
- Ability to work in an environment that supports employees from all backgrounds and fosters an environment of inclusion.
Working Conditions:
- Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
- Travel to multiple facilities may be required.
- May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
- May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
- May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
- Corporate / satellite office role.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Salary: $52,000- $52,000/year
