The US Wellness Medical & Scientific Affairs team plays a pivotal role advancing the trusted science behind our Wellness brands including Centrum, Emergen-C, Benefiber, and Caltrate. The Wellness Science Intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable experiences by contributing to key projects and initiatives that build on the research and evidence base of the across our Wellness brands and generate new ideas for innovation, claims, and communications.


What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?

  • Collaborate with team scientist(s) and external researchers/academics on business priorities.
  • Critically evaluate current scientific evidence to address business needs through literature searches, evidence analysis and synthesis of the data.
  • Contribute to cross-functional team collaborations (Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Marketing, Safety, etc.)

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:

 

Education required:

  • We are looking for undergraduate (minimum requirement - junior year completed by start of internship) and/or graduate students enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program with a Nutrition, Human Nutrition, or Food Science background.
  • Ideal candidates will have the registered dietitian/nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential. 

 

Other requirements:

  • Candidate must be available to work full-time throughout the 12-week Internship (40 hours/week, Monday - Friday)
  • Candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented, analytical, and adaptable/flexible to meet the needs of a fast-paced/dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with scientific writing experience preferred.
  • Provide your own funding for relocation and commuting.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization.

 

 

Expected start date: June 2025

 

 

The hourly rate for this role is $24.50/ hour.
