Budget Intern (Summer 2025)

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Principal Analyst, the Budget Intern will assist the Budget team with various tasks and assignments. The primary learning objective for this role is for the incumbent to gain an understanding of the many responsibilities of the Budget & Analytics department such as workforce planning, project tracking, survey requests, and preparation of the budget book.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s or master's degree program with at least one semester left to complete all degree requirements after the internship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, employees, management, executives)
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
Work Modality
This position is subject to a hybrid work schedule.
Job Duties
The duties of the Budget Intern include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Assist with the annual budget book, workforce planning charts, project tracking and survey requests.
- Assist with calculations, metrics, and analysis of budgetary data
- Review and document various budget processes, outlining opportunities for increased efficiency and delivery
- Participate in special projects and assignments as needed
Salary Grade
This position is a non-graded position.
Salary Range
$20.00 per hour.
