Summer 2025 Engineering Internships

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is a fully populated joint venture led by Engineering Research and Consulting (ERC) now doing business as Astrion Group (Astrion), in partnership with Fluor Corporation. Job Description

Our internship program offers 10-12 week full time summer internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in various engineering disciplines and computer science related disciplines. As part of the internship, you are paired with experienced engineers and scientists who serve as your mentor(s) in completing real engineering or technical work gaining valuable experience in your field of study while contributing to Air Force and contractor missions. You will be required to present a briefing to management demonstrating what you learned and accomplished throughout the summer.  

Our contract at AEDC begins officially 10/01 and posting on our website will go up very soon thereafter. Please pay attention to the information requested and ensure that is on your resume. Due to Department of Defense regulations, US Citizenship is required.

Minimum requirements for consideration:

  • IMPORTANT: Resumes must include degree program, projected graduation date, and GPA in order to be considered. We will not be reaching out to obtain information that was requested but not included
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a degree in one of the following disciplines:
  • At least sophomore status (45 credit hours) completed by May 2025
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Ability to work 40 hours each week for 10 to 12 weeks from May to August. This is a full time position.
  • Must have reliable transportation to transport oneself from building to building within the industrial complex
