CAT Scan Technologist - Multiple Shifts

Sentara Health is currently hiring CAT Scan Technologists for Full Time and Flexi/PRN positions for the following locations and shifts:

 

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA:

  • Full Time, Nights: Monday night - Thursday night: 10pm - 7am
  • Full Time, Evenings: Monday - Thursday: 1pm-10:30pm
  • Full Time, Weekend Nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7pm - 7:30am
  • Full Time, Weekend Days: Saturday/Sunday: 9am - 9:30pm; Monday: 7:30am-8pm

 

Sentara Port Warwick in Newport News, VA:

  • Full Time, Nights: Monday night - Thursday night: 9pm - 7am
  • Flexi/PRN: flexible/rotating schedule

Job Description:

  • Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Operate equipment safely
  • Complete department documentation
  • Maintain all equipment to be clean and operational
  • Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Trade School Graduate  - Radiologic Technology       
  • License/Certification: ARRT or CNMT required. Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire.
