About the Position:

Transportation Engineer (Civil), Range D, requires possession of a valid certificate of registration as a civil engineer in the State of California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. The incumbent may act as a lead worker for other engineering and technical staff.

Under the direction of the Minor B and Emergency Contracts Branch Chief, a Senior Transportation Engineer, the Transportation Engineer (Civil) (TEC) Range D, acts as the Lands and Building Coordinator. The incumbent performs activities requiring engineering and project management knowledge, skills, and abilities for the preparation and review of plans, specifications, estimates, design drawings, exhibits, written documents, presentations, and other related work in support of the HM5 program, Transportation Related Facilities (TRF), and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facilities (CVEF).
