Data Engineer
Our Client is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic team and help us optimize their data infrastructure and pipelines.
Job Summary:
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that support our data analytics initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures (data warehouses, data lakes, etc.).
- Create and manage ETL processes to gather and transform data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure optimal data flow.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement data governance and quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide technical support as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our data infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data workflows.
