We are currently looking for a Mining Intern to join our Purchasing team in Farmington Hills, Michigan during Summer 2025.
A Day in the Life:
Review and Understand Mining plans of 6 key junior miners.
Review Pit optimization plans/compare results
Research US, Canada, and Australian Permitting Structures
Study what permits are required for a Lithium and Nickel mine
Understand where each key junior miner is in the process
Track and report on status of sourcing, cost reductions, process improvements, and other defined goals
Assist with other various tasks as needed
Who We’re Looking for:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program studying Mining Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Strong proficiency in Microsoft products and PowerPoint
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Ability to perform work onsite
