2025 University Recruiting - Global Quality Large Molecule Analytical Sciences Intern

Job Description

 

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research & Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

 

Global Quality Large Molecule Analytical Sciences (GQLMAS), our Manufacturing Division is responsible for the establishment and performance of commercial large molecule analytical techniques including method development, validation, troubleshooting, and transfers working with both our company and outsourced partners.   This team is highly motivated, fast-paced and focused on the rapid advancement of our company´s large molecule pipeline, as well as growth and performance of existing licensed products. The Sample Management group within GQLMAS provides logistical support for sample generation, handling, shipments, and logistics ensuring critical samples are generated and shipped to the many laboratories worldwide. Specific job responsibilities include participation in department activities including training, instrumentation, qualifications, sample management, inventory management, and documentation.  

 

Required experience and skills:

Experience with pipettes, balances, biosafety cabinets, and/or fume hoods

Familiarity with an analytical laboratory

Experience with documenting experiments including objectives, reagents, procedure, results, and conclusions

Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team

Interest in learning logistics of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) sample movement

Good technical, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and teamwork skills. 

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and proven performance record

 

Required Education and Experience:

Candidates must be currently working toward B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Logistics or a related field. 

 

Education Minimum Requirement: 

Minimum of three (3) years in a BS -OR- in a MS program in one of the following disciplines:

Biology

Biochemistry

Chemistry

Molecular Biology

Virology

Logistics

 

*Available for a duration of 9-12 weeks during May-August 2024

 

Candidates must be successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal and writing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
