As an MPO Technician, you are responsible for providing technical coordination of transportation demand modeling within the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) operations.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
• Associate's Degree in engineering, geography, statistics, urban planning, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in increasingly responsible experience working with GIS, transportation planning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed below.
• Specific experience in the use of ARC-GIS software is required.
LICENSING and CERTIFICATIONS
• Possession of a Wyoming driver’s license preferred.
• Possession of ARC-GIS and/or Trans CAD certifications preferred.
