Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for sales and technology. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the growth of Blendyd Studios by identifying and engaging potential small and medium-sized carriers who can benefit from our ATS.
Your primary responsibility will be to reach out to prospective clients, introduce them to our innovative solutions, and set up qualified meetings for our sales team. You’ll be the first point of contact for carriers, explaining how our system can save them time, optimize their workflows, and enhance their recruitment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify small and medium-sized carriers that can benefit from Blendyd Studios' ATS.
- Outbound Prospecting: Use cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach to engage with potential customers.
- Educate and Qualify Leads: Clearly communicate Blendyd’s value proposition, focusing on how our technology automates hiring processes and helps recruiters build relationships with top talent.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team with prospective clients.
- CRM Management: Keep accurate records of outreach efforts and track interactions using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with sales executives to ensure a smooth transition of leads from initial contact to demo and proposal stages.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and share insights about industry trends and feedback from potential customers to help improve Blendyd’s product and approach.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales development or lead generation role (preferably in SaaS or ATS industries).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technology solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the transportation industry or previous experience selling to carriers is a plus.
- A self-motivated and results-driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience using CRM tools for managing sales pipelines and lead follow-ups.
