Urban Planner

C.S. Davidson, Inc. is a multi-faceted consulting engineering firm based in South Central PA with a strong presence in York for over 100 years. We’re seeking a talented Urban Planner to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting our municipal clients with planning initiatives that enhance residents’ quality of life.

As an Urban Planner in our York office, you will:

  • Work on various comprehensive planning projects, including development & redevelopment, agricultural preservation, transportation networks, and environmental resource protection.
  • Develop clear and engaging public-facing planning documents to communicate complex data effectively.
  • Collaborate on grant proposals and research and assist clients with MS4 program administration.
  • Leverage your time management and communication skills to achieve shared goals and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Urban Planning & Design, Geography, or a related field.
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities and manage your time effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF applications.
  • 3+ years of professional planning experience preferred.

A plus if you have:

  • Experience with GIS software.
  • Strong written and graphic design skills for creating professional reports and presentations.
