Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Science Intern specializing in web scraping and ETL pipelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing data from various sources, ensuring it is accurate and easily queryable.


 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain web scraping scripts to collect data from websites.

- Clean and process collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Automate data updates through scheduling mechanisms (e.g., cron jobs, cloud functions).

- Store and manage large datasets using appropriate database technologies.


 

Qualifications:

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

- Experience with web scraping tools and frameworks (e.g., Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium).

- Familiarity with Python for data analysis and manipulation.

- Knowledge of scheduling automated scraping tasks.

- Understanding of database management (e.g., SQL).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


 

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for task automation.

- Understanding of data security and privacy concerns in data scraping.
