Have you always wanted to know what goes into making “TV magic”? Do you have a passion for pop culture and learning the ins and outs of live production? Do you want to become a part of a team of professionals who make that magic happen daily?
Well, here is your chance! We are looking for highly motivated college students with a passion for television production to join our Spring Internship Program!
Work on Location / in-Studio in New York City, Chelsea Area.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work minimum 3 days a week- Mondays-Thursdays. Not to exceed 20 hours/week and 8 hours/day
- Must be able to work 7am-3pm or 10am-5pm
- Currently enrolled and eligible to receive college credit
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift minimum 25lbs
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Google Docs and Excel
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- Highly collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts, solve problems, and implement solutions
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to commute to / from NYC Chelsea Area
- Paid Internship of $16.50/hour
Full Description:
A syndicated live daytime talk show is seeking Spring semester interns. Interns will work a rotating schedule with creative producing teams, research producer teams, the script department, production management, and the art department.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, learning set up/breakdown of studio and production office spaces, learning how to conduct producer research, brainstorming creative ideas & participating in daily rehearsals, assisting with external communications, learning how clearance and other databases operate, and so much more.
