Horseback Riding Instructors
Work at a premier coed camp this summer!
* We are seeking hard-working instructors who are qualified to teach horsemanship in both English & Western styles from beginner to advanced levels to children of all ages.
* Horseback Riding staff includes 15 instructors who have certification in equine studies, or experience teaching horsemanship classes to children of all abilities.
* Staff is responsible for barn cleanliness (including mucking-out, sweeping, etc); health & care of our horses (including feeding, watering, grooming, tacking, walking-out); daily class assignments (ring instruction, trail rides); health & care of our petting zoo animals; tack & equipment care; maintain high-level safety standards & proper supervision at all times.
* Certification in first-aid and CPR is also recommended.
* Instructors are trained, evaluated, and qualified by our Horsemanship Director prior to the campers' arrival.
* Horsemanship Director is CHA certified (or equivalent) and has documented experience managing an Equestrian Program, including supervising staff, organizing classes, maintaining the facility, and caring for the horses.
